Described by Jay Leno as the best joke writer in America and by Gary Delaney as the best joke writer in the world, Emo Philips has performed over seven thousand stand-up shows in comedy clubs, colleges and theaters, including a multi-week run at the Playhouse Theatre in London's West End. In 2018 and from 2022-2023, Emo toured with "Weird Al" Yankovic (over two hundred concerts across three continents); Emo will forever remember the standing ovation he received at Carnegie Hall.
Since starting out in Chicago in 1976 at the age of twenty, Emo has had award-winning comedy albums, several cable specials (including an hour-long one on HBO), and many appearances on network television, in both America and the UK. He has appeared in films (most notably, as the table-saw demonstrator in UHF) and has lent his distinctive voice to animated TV shows (such as Adventure Time, and Home Movies), but stand-up remains Emo's first and true Love.Inner Circle Seating is in the center of the showroom and you will be seated within the first four rows.
Outer Circle Seating is directly behind Inner Circle Seating and runs along the perimeter of the showroom.
Seats are assigned on a first come, first serve basis as people arrive. This means that you will have your seat assigned at Will Call when you check in.
Groups must arrive together in order to sit together. While we do everything we can to seat groups together, we cannot guarantee that groups will be seated together. For the best chance of being seated together arrive early and arrive all together.
